The Transportation Compliance Centre consists of two partners and several associates who decided to share their experience and expertise to provide quality transportation consulting services.

In Canada, Transportation Compliance Centre Ltd. operates from Calgary, Alberta and is well positioned to assist carriers in Western Canada with their compliance needs.

In the United States, Transportation Compliance Center LLC operates from Manning, SC to assist carriers in the southeast States and the Eastern seaboard.

The Transportation Compliance Centre has a wide variety of experience and expertise to provide consulting services in most any capacity required by the industry. The partners and associates at The Transportation Compliance Centre know the Standards and know the law. With over 20 years of compliance experience we are able to provide you with complete assessment, development and training programs that will provide you with the tools to be successful in safety.

Lynne Hartman

Responsible for the Canadian branch of the operation, Lynne holds the professional designation of Certified Trucking Manager (CTM) from York University and the Ontario Trucking Association.

Lynne has worked exclusively in the transportation industry since 1981 and has owned and operated Professional Logbook Auditing since 1994. In 2002 the company name was changed to Transportation Compliance Centre to better reflect the services the company offers to carriers in Western Canada.

She is an Alberta Transportation Certified Third Party Auditor, authorized to conduct National Safety Code Audits on Alberta carriers. and has been doing so since 1998 when the program went into effect.

Lynne is also a certified external and internal auditor with the Alberta Motor Transport Association for companies wishing to obtain or renew their Certificate of Recognition (COR) through the Partners in Injury Reduction Program (PIR).

In addition to performing these audits, Lynne also works with carriers designing and updating their safety programs and policies to ensure they meet and exceed legislative requirements.

Lynne is recognized as an expert in Canadian hours of service regulations and offers auditing and training to carriers.

Dan Hartman

Dan's 30+ years in the transportation industry brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to carriers. His background was focused on safety management, driver recruitment and training. He's also an expert on health and safety regulatory compliance issues.

Consider his knowledge in all aspects of freight operations, which include;

  2. fleet maintenance
  3. inventory control
  4. commodities management

Dan is also trained and experienced in OH&S COR auditing, OSHA auditing, and Alcohol and Controlled Substance Recognition. He is actively involved in several trucking and safety organizations in both Canada and the USA.

As a proud Award-Winning member of the International Truck and Engine Diamond Club, his expertise in speccing and purchasing capital equipment ensures the best utilization of carrier assets.
